Following a friend at work and I discussing all thimgs DSLR and Canon, I have been given a 50mm F1.8 II to play with – and simply WOW !

I have read a great many things about this and have found myself wanting one when not in a position to buy one.

For the first time in my DSLR ownership life, I have been able to ‘test’ one and have been more than surprised !

DoF is very much understated. Yes you need to work more to obtain correct focal points but boy is it worth it !
